The Texas Shootout is a STAY-TO-PLAY event and all teams traveling more than 60 miles are required to stay in an Official Tournament Hotel and must make reservations through Athlete Travel. Failure to make your reservations through Athlete Travel will result in the non-acceptance of your team.

STAY-TO-PLAY is a tournament housing method that allows teams to receive the best available hotel benefits and ensures all teams receive the protections Challenge Soccer Club and Athlete Travel have established with hotels. Athlete Travel pre-secures room blocks at the closest available hotels to the fields, and negotiates the lowest rates and best amenities for teams. Athlete Travel always selects properties with the team's best interest in mind.

What is an approved hotel? An approved hotel is a hotel that Athlete Travel and Challenge Soccer Club have approved based on quality, rate, location and has agreed to the protections that protect teams staying at the property.
