Challenge Seniors Celebrate National Signing Day

Challenge Soccer Club of Houston, Texas, a nationally recognized select soccer club for girls, is proud to announce 31 players will continue their soccer careers with major Division I, III & NAIA colleges and universities across the country. Challenge expects up to another ten players to make college decisions within the next month and will have nearly 50 total players graduating the club.
Players graduating from Challenge 99 ECNL, Challenge 98, Challenge 98 East, Challenge 99 South, and Challenge 99 Red have enjoyed tremendous success over the years, competing in the Elite Clubs National League, United Soccer Clubs Champions League, State Classic League and Eastern District Division 1.
This group of seniors is incredibly talented and has been recognized nationally with 2 graduates representing the United States Youth National Team and many players also having been named to their High School All District, All Region and All State Teams.
Once again, Challenge leads the way through East Texas in pure numbers of female players pursuing college soccer. This incredible number of commitments reflects the dedication of Challenge Soccer Club to assist in providing opportunities for female players to pursue not only collegiate soccer, but also higher education. In the last five years alone Challenge has graduated nearly 300 players with over 200 of those choosing to pursue college soccer; numbers far exceeding any other club in Houston.
Methodist Willowbrook Hospital will be hosting a “Senior Night” for these extraordinary players, families and coaches, on February 1st from 7 – 10pm, at their facility on Highway 249. Player presentation, mock-signings, catered dinner and video presentations will commence at 7:00 with photos and interviews available afterward. Media is invited and encouraged to join us for a special evening of pride and appreciation.
