Challenge 96 ECNL Advances to ECNL National Finals

June 25,2013

Challenge 96 ECNL earned the right to compete for the Elite Clubs National League National Finals after winning their group at the ECNL National Playoffs in Denver, Colorado. Challenge was one of eight top seeded teams out of 32 that were drawn randomly into 8 groups. Every team played the three other teams in their group over three days, with the 8 group winners advancing to ECNL Nationals in Richmond, Virginis, July 10-15.

"All of the players played very well throughout the weekend. They each contributed to a fantastic overall team performance and came away with tremendous confidence heading into the National Finals; the fluid attack and desciplined defending was incredible to watch. When your attacking players do a great job of defending and then defending players do a great job of attacking, you know your team is playing well. We know the team will compete in Richmond and stands a great chance of bringing a national championship back home to Houston," said Director of Coaching Pat O'Toole.
